LAKE POINTE VILLAGE - A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY

  • Wayne Rickert and Robert Goss were the developers of Lake Pointe Village back in 1989.
  • Our Village is a lake front community and all the streets are named after the Great Lakes.
  • The American Flag in our Clubhouse was donated by the Mulberry American Legion.
  • The first home was purchased by John and Liz Necessary.
  • The Homeowner's Association came into being in 1992.Leonard Brynteson was one of the organizers and the first president of the Homeowner's Association.
  • Our Clubhouse is run by the residents. Inside you will find a fully equipped kitchen, the dining/entertainment room, the fitness room, the library, the billiard /card room and the activity room.
  • Bingo is held in the clubhouse every Tuesday at 7:00 PM. Coffee hour is held in the clubhouse every Saturday at 9:00 AM.
  • Dances are held monthly with live entertainment. Events held throughout the year include: Chicken Dinners, Ice Cream Socials, Spaghetti Dinners, Octoberfest, Pancake Breakfasts, and delicious Strawberry Shortcake served after entertainment by the "Never Fade Bluegrass Gospel Band."
  • Each year our big events include: Carport Sales, Grand Prix Derby, a Home Show, a Craft Show and a Fashion Show.
  • The activity room is always busy with our many talented crafters and artists. The computer club also meets here once a month.
  • The outside activities are many. Here you will find our swimming pool, hot tub, shuffleboard courts, tennis courts, horseshoe pits and a nine-hole putting green.
  • Lake Pointe Village is situated in Mulberry, Florida, within easy access to the cultural arts, amusements, golf, shopping, restaurants, and airports.
